FOR PROPER CHAIN SELECTION on PETOL DRILL PIPE TONGS: The threaded portion of the chain screw should NEVER contact the work piece. This places an additional load on the chain screw, which could result in breakage. Thread contact can be prevented by adding a 2 link section of chain.
